Mrs. Debra Brokaw is our full time 6-12 School Counselor. She lives north of Monticello with her husband Chris and their five children. Mrs. Brokaw earned her undergraduate degree from University of Northern Iowa and her Masters in School Counseling from Drake University. She started her educational career teaching Social Studies and did so for five years. She was then the middle school counselor for Anamosa for six years. After which, Mrs. Brokaw took some time off to stay home with her children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends at a cabin on Lake Delhi, campfires, and spending time on her family's farm. She is excited to be working for the Midland District and is looking forward to a great year!

Barb Hollinrake, Part-time School Counselor

Ms. Barb Hollinrake is our part-time 6-12 School Counselor. She is here on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Wednesday mornings. She grew up in southern Iowa and currently lives in Manchester. Ms. Hollinrake earned her undergraduate degree from Truman State University and her Masters in Counseling and Human Development from The University of Iowa. She began her educational career in Clinton teaching Business classes for four years. After completing her Masters degree and subbing for a year she become a school counselor at Maquoketa Valley Schools. She enjoys reading, music, and spending time with her family. Everyone she has met at Midland has been very friendly and welcoming and she looks forward to a great year!

2018-19 All Sports Food Stand Sign Up - to sign up contact Michelle in the HS office via email or phone call. These are assigned on a first requested, first filled basis. If not signed up, a time will be assigned to the parents of ALL athletes.
