In December, Ari Hacke graduated from Clarke with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a reading endorsement. Her route was very untraditional, as she did most of the work online but that also allowed her to learn hands-on as a para in the classroom.
She says “I couldn’t have gotten here without other amazing people. Melissa Carstensen was a great peer throughout this entire program! She is truly the best human inside and outside of the classroom. I also want to give a huge thanks to everyone at Midland Elementary that helped me become the educator I am today! Those at Cascade Elementary also helped me step out of my comfort zone during my student teaching placement and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
Ari is currently fulfilling a long-term sub position at Midland Elementary which she says “is such a full circle moment as I was a student there once too.”
We are excited to have Ari back within the walls of Midland Elementary. She says “I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!” Thanks for choosing to be an Eagle all over again Ari!
