Midland High School does high school course registration in the early spring with students entering their course requests into Xello after meeting with the counselor. Students who transfer in mid-year will meet with the counselor to create a schedule.
After the master course schedule is created and schedules are printed, students can request a meeting with Mrs. Lasack in the counseling office to make any changes needed to their schedule. All schedule changes must be made by the second day of the first semester.
Students are given an opportunity to change their second semester again in December, ideally all students will make their needed changes before winter break. All student schedule changes must be made by the second day of the second semester.

Middle School Schedules
Middle school students have an option on their participation in music classes. Students have these options:
- Both band and vocal (offered on alternating days)
- Band only with study hall on the opposite day
- Vocal only with study hall on the opposite day
- Neither band nor vocal – study hall both days
Parents will be contacted in the spring to determine what their child wants in their schedule for that next fall. Changes can by made during the first two days of the school year by having a parent contact the office.
