Midland Community School District
Open Enrollment is now open! The deadline to open enroll is March 2nd, 2026. More information on how to enroll can be found on this page.
Whether you’re new to the area or looking for a fresh start for your child, we’d be excited to welcome you to the Midland family.
At Midland Community School District, our small class sizes allow teachers to build strong relationships and provide individualized support that helps every student grow with confidence. Students begin exploring computer science and other career-focused learning early on, building strong, real-world problem-solving skills that prepare them for the future.
At Midland, community and strong values are at the heart of everything we do. Education here goes beyond academics. We teach perseverance and integrity, while inspiring curiosity and a love of learning. Students grow into kind, responsible, and engaged members of our community, thriving in the classroom and beyond.
In Iowa, families can choose to enroll their child in a public school district outside their district of residence by simply completing an open enrollment application by the deadline (see details below).
