High School Tech Initiative: Community Input Needed!

Hey everyone! The Midland FBLA high school students of our district are excited to announce a fantastic initiative: we’re gearing up to offer free technology training right here in our local towns!

We believe that digital skills are essential in today’s world, and we want to empower everyone in our community. We’re ready to share our knowledge, but we need your input to make this project a huge success.

Here’s where you come in:

1. What do you want to learn? 🤔 Are you eager to master the basics digitizing images, learn how to navigate a web based design tool like Canva to create cards, flyers or videos,  get started with creating photobooks, learn how to navigate your local grocery store’s app or maybe even understand online security? Tell us what specific tech skills or topics you’d find most valuable.

2. Where should the training be held? 📍 To make it convenient for everyone, we plan to offer sessions in the different towns that make up our school district. Let us know which specific town or location (like the public library, a community center, or the high school) would be the most accessible and desired spot for you to attend a training session.

Your feedback will directly shape the training programs we offer and their locations. Please tell us: What would you like to learn how to do, and where would you like to have the training?

We can’t wait to hear your ideas and start building these valuable training sessions!
