The Iowa Department of Education recently announced funding for 21 schools across Iowa to support computer science professional development. We are happy to announce that Midland Community School district is one of the schools awarded. Established by Senate File 274, the Computer Science Professional Development Incentive Fund offers Iowa school
Course registration for our students currently in grades 8-11 is in full swing here at Midland. Those students will be using their Xello program to enter their course requests for the 25-26 school year. There is also a course registration sheet that needs filled out and signed by a parent.

Some of our Midland FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) students held a FREE “Teens Teach Tech” session at the Wyming Public Library on February 2nd with a topic Internet Basics. Several community members attended and learned some things from these techy teens! We thank you for supporting this endeavor!
