As the school year closes we will say goodbye and good luck to six special employees who combined have dedicated 152 years of their lives, their time and their talents to the Midland District and its students/staff. We wish them the very best in their retirement years. Tim Wright 34

Midland senior Trenton Rickels was named the KCRG TV-9 December Student of the Month. Trenton is the son of James and Marcella Rickels. Trenton is very involved in sports, FFA, Student Council, NHS and Art Club. He is a student who is always helping others and is a quiet leader
The School Board and Administrators thanked Nikki Rushford and Travis Hansen at their November 22nd board meeting as their terms on the School Board ended. We appreciate that they both put their time, talents and heart all in for the district and our students.
Midland Schools installed an entirely new phone system on November 18th. We are excited about this new system and hope the extensions will work correctly for all staff in both buildings from every outside phone.
